GroupWise 5 Administration: Novell Directory Services, Windows NTTM GroupWise Clients (174-001): This video session covers issues involving GroupWise 5 administration as they relate to Novell Directory Services (NDS), Windows NTTM, and GroupWise 5 Clients. It also provides; 1) an explanation of how GroupWise 5 administration databases interact with NDS through the GroupWise 5 snap-in of NW Admin and the GroupWise Administration Agent (ADA); 2) Topics relating to GroupWise 5's extension of the NDS schema; 3) Techniques on verifying the health of NDS replica synchronization. Planning and tactics for implementing GroupWise 5 in a Windows NTTM environment; and 4) Understanding the GroupWise 5 client startup sequence.

GroupWise 4.1 to 5 Migration (176-001): This session provides tactics and strategies for making a smooth transition from GroupWise 4.x to GroupWise 5. There is a discussion of planning and preparation for a migration, partial migrations, coexistence of both versions, or setting up a pilot system, explanation of critical points in the process and deviations from documented procedures.

GroupWise 5 Document Management (177-001): This video is an overview of GroupWise 5's approach to document management. How to establish, use and maintain a GroupWise 5 Library. Demonstration of utilities for maintaining documents in the system. Discussion of access and security strategies. How to administer integrations for various types of applications, such as Corel WordPerfect SuiteTM, and MS Office 95TM.

NetWare v4.11 Administration Tools (178-001): This video overviews the new functionality and features of NWADMIN & NDS Manager - two main utilities that a network administrator will use to manage their tree. It covers information relating to: the new Template object, Multi-user details, and multi-tree management features of NWADMIN. Within NDS Manager you can troubleshoot replicas and partitions, as well as, run several DSREPAIR options - these are demonstrated in this video.

NetWare v4.11 Client Update (179-001): This video is divided into two sections. The first section covers advanced Client 32 training on: Support Documentation, Current Support Issues (including a discussion on the current patches), and Troubleshooting Techniques. The second section covers Nprinter95 and NAL (NetWare Application Launcher) and includes a setup and demonstration of NAL and Nprinter for Windows 95.

NetWare v3.x to 4.11 Migration / NDS Disaster Recovery Update (180-001): This video will cover information and issues relating to DS Migrate, File Migration, as well as, Backup and Restore in relationship to NDS.
DS Migrate is a migration and modeling solution provided from a partnered agreement between Preferred System Inc, the makers of DS Standard and Novell Inc. Upgrade across-the-wire using the DS Migrate utility allows you to upgrade NetWare 2.1x, 2.2, or 3.1x bindery server by migrating modeled bindery information to an existing NetWare 4.11 directory tree.
The File Migration portion of this video talks about and demonstrates the steps required to migrate all of the file system information from a 3.x server to a 4.11 server. The File Migration tool is designed to be run in an "across-the-wire" scenario. The File Migration tool and the DS Migrate tool are designed to be used together and in fact the File Migration tool will not run unless the DS Migrate tool has been previously run.
The video also overviews Backup/Restore as it relates to Directory Services Objects, Object ID's, Creation Time Stamps, and dependencies with other objects in the tree - specifically trustee assignments. Information relating to the server specific enhancements made to TSANDS and TSA410 is discussed and the October '96 Appnote on Backup/Restore is previewed.

NetWare Web Server / DHCP (181-001): This video contains a synopsis of DHCP, NetWare/IP, Web Server, NIAS.
DHCP: (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) allows centralized administration of workstation TCP/IP addresses, netmasks, default router, DNS, and NetWare/IP client information.
NetWare/IP: Server and client software that allows the creation of a TCP/IP only LAN environment for NetWare. It also reduces RIP/SAP traffic for WAN environments.
Novell Web Server: Allows the NetWare 4.x server to be a web server and server up html and other documents to browser clients.
NIAS: (Novell Internet Access Server) utilizes MPR and WAN extensions products to connect the NetWare 4.x server to the Internet. There is also an IPX to IP gateway that allows all IPX only workstations to browse the Internet through the NetWare 4.x server's one valid TCP/IP address.

NetWare v4.11 Server Updates (182-001): This is an in-depth and technical video outlining the abend recovery features of NetWare 4.11, the leading edge SMP product, enhancements to CLIB - Novell's developer interface, and other changes in NetWare's core OS.

Troubleshooting ManageWise (199-001): This seminar provides troubleshooting ManageWise details network management components, processes and inter-operations, presents a proven method for troubleshooting problems with the ManageWise product, and demonstrates resolution of known issues.

Resolving Critical Issues (204-001): This seminar provides the student information about troubleshooting and fixing NetWare server issues including abends, hangs, and performance issues.
