Can two Betta fish live together in one tank?

In: Animals Asked By: admin [7 Grey Star Level]
Answer #1

Absolutely not. Betta, or Siamese Fighting Fish, are solitary creatures. Even a male and female Betta fish combination will end up with one injured or dead. Unless you plan on having a double-digit gallon tank, do not keep Bettas together. It’s just asking for trouble. For those of you who didn’t get the title, Betta fish come in all the colors of the rainbow, and most are just as pretty as a rainbow.
